67/365

I love how the sun was shining through the water drops here. It was so pretty.

66/365

This is the double rainbow that formed over our subdivision after the storm. It was gorgeous. It was full double rainbow. I don't know that I had ever seen one.

65/365

Eli at the playground. We have an on going debate at our house on what color his eyes are. I say hazel and Darrell says blue. What do you see?

64/365

Horrible, blurry picture but oh well. This is my version of a White Castle Slider. Yum! It looks like food has been on my mind a lot lately with the apple dumplings and now sliders LOL. What is bad is that none of it is healthy! These are super easy to make. Take a 9x13 casserole dish, layer the bottom with minced onion, on top of that put 2 lbs of hamburger pressed in flat, then add your favorite hamburger seasoning salt, bake at 350 for about 30 minutes. When done baking, use a paper towel to get rid of the grease, add 6 slices of cheese to the top and return to the oven for five minutes. Once the cheese is melted cut into 24 sliders and add to mini buns with a dill pickle. Yummy!

For some reason I can hardly ever get a picture of Darrell where he is not sticking out his tongue. Look how sweet Eli look ;o)

62/365

Yum! Apple Dumplings!

61/365

Look at the concentration on his face. He will spend forever playing this all by himself. He does get really mad when it all falls down though.

Rainy day here in Texas. This is view from the top of the kids swing set. Our subdivision is out in the middle of nowhere with nothing but flat land and a few hills around.

59/365

I saw this truck sitting in the field at one of the ranches here. I love photographing old things. Especially buildings and vehicles. I like the black and white. May try it in sepia later.

58/365

Warmer weather means Nala finally gets outside baths again! Eli decided to help. They did a great job.

57_365

Welcome to Texas and blue skies.

56/365

I hate pictures of myself but this was all I had for today. Enjoy!

And so all good things come to an end. The good thing about snow in Texas is that it lasts a very short while. These are the remains of our snow family.

54/365

This is the finished product of the quest to build the snow family. We didn't have any scarves or any limbs for arms so they are a little unfinished LOL. They had a great time building them though.

53/365

There is a lot of pretty iron/welding work around here. I am hoping to get out and get some more pictures of it. This is the top of a gate to a local ranch. Many of the ranches here have their ranch name or something like this overhead as you go through the gate.

52/365

Another Texas sunset. Same trees different colors from the sky.

51/365

This is Belton Lake. Not really one of my best pics ;o) This area is really pretty though. I am looking forward to getting back out there and taking some more pics. There was a lot of debris and stuff around where they were still trying to clean up from high waters.

50/365

I just thought this fire hydrant was interesting. I like how old it looks and the contrast between the orange and yellow.

49/365

This is a really crappy picture but hey it is all I had. We bought ourselves a moving present, a new TV. Eli was super proud of it and wanted me to take his picture with it. What a cheeser!

48/365

Eli fell asleep in the car holding his ring pop while we were running errands.

47/365

Caleb and Zoey on their first day at their new school. Eli wanted in on the action too. They were so excited that they didn't have to wear uniforms anymore.

46/365

This is at the front of our subdivision. The colors were really nice during this sunset.

45/365

Seiko is so ticked at us about this trip. She wouldn't come near us for day. She hid on top of our kitchen cabinets. This is one of the first times she finally came out when were all around. She still looks really mad!

44/365

This is how you eat ice cream when you are waiting for your furniture. The kids have not complained once about eating at the table since we finally got our stuff here ;o)

43/365

This is how you watch movies when you have no furniture and a small TV. Zoey is the one sitting in the Rubbermaid container. They would fight over who got sit in it cause then they had something to lean on. Next PCS we will remember to pack chairs.

42/365

The city you see on the horizon in Killeen but I am actually still in city limits when I take this picture. Everything here is much flatter, even the trees, but it is still very pretty.

41/365

This is the mantle in our new home. During the move in inspection I took pictures of any imperfections so we wouldn't be charged with them when me moved out LOL. This is the paint someone got on the wood.

40/365

This is Nala playing in the snow in Arkansas. It followed us from Kentucky :o( I am so ready for spring. I have had enough of snow for one season.

39/365

This is Darrell and one of his best friends Ansel. We had not seen Ansel in YEARS but were fortunate enough to be able to swing by and see him and meet his family on our trip from Kentucky to Texas. We had a wonderful time reliving some old times and catching up on the years without contact. Can't wait to meet up with them again sometime.
